Team owner, driver
Alex Job Racing (AJR) was one of the premier American sports car racing teams from its beginning in 1989 to 2017, when it ceased operation to focus on historic restoration. During that stretch, AJR collected more than 70 wins, four team championships (2002, 2003, 2004, 2012) and five drivers’ titles (2002, 2003, 2004, 2012, 2013), competing in the IMSA United SportsCar Championship, American Le Mans Series, Rolex Sports Car Series and IMSA GT3 Cup Challenge. Alex Job began racing in a Saab in 1970. He and wife Holly formed AJR in 1988; Alex retired from driving three years later to focus on running the team. Over the years, AJR qualified on pole in 48 races and performed impressively in the sport’s biggest events. It scored two class wins at Le Mans (2003, 2005), two at the Rolex 24 at DAYTONA (1999, 2013) and a record 10 class victories at the 12 Hours of Sebring (1995, 1999, 2001-4, 2010, 2012-3, 2015). Alex Job Racing was inducted into the Sebring Hall of Fame in 2016.
