|
Novi, MI – November 7, 2004 – Speed buffs and gear heads were dreaming of sugar plum hot rods and singing carols of great joy as the first in a unique series of automotive themed holiday cards was announced by the Motorsports Hall of Fame of America. Automobile nostalgia is the hallmark of this original painting of a 1935 Walt Cibor sprint car by noted auto racing artist D.R. Shuck. Printed on deluxe heavy stock (H-5” X W-7”), the gorgeous winter scene features the vintage red vehicle highlighted by a dusting of new fallen snow. Inside, the card’s message is: “Warm wishes for a joyful Holiday season and a glorious New Year.” Designed for NASCAR, Indy and dirt track fans alike, the card is perfect for staying in touch with friends and family at Christmas, New Year’s Day or any cold weather occasion. This exclusive line of high power greetings is available at a cost of $12.50 for 10 cards. Orders of 100 or more are priced at one dollar per card. A flat fee of $5.95 for shipping and handling applies to each order regardless of size. Six percent sales tax will be charged to Michigan residents. Purchase cards online at www.mshf.com or call toll free at 800-250-RACE. VISA and MasterCard are welcome. All proceeds benefit the nonprofit Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame of America Foundation and its mission to preserve values of leadership, innovation, teamwork and competition embodied in motorsports. The Motorsports Museum & Hall of Fame is operated by the Motorsports Museum and Hall of Fame of America Foundation Inc., a non-profit corporation. Outstanding all-time achievers from every form of American motor racing are enshrined each summer at the Hall of Fame’s Annual Induction Ceremony in Detroit. The Hall of Fame Museum houses more than 40 racing and high performance vehicles. The constantly changing collection features racers from the world of Indy cars, stock cars, Can Am, TransAm, sprint cars, powerboats, truck racing, drag racing, motorcycles, air racing and even snowmobiles.
